Cats scratch doors as much as furniture, so giving them something to hang directly on the door itself solves the problem at the exact spot it usually happens.

This is a plush giraffe-shaped toy combining a textured scratcher pad on the body with a dangling ball for batting, fitted with a hanging tag so it can be hooked onto a doorknob or a hook. Bestpets describe it as encouraging both exercise and healthy claw maintenance in one design.

• Plush giraffe design
• Textured scratcher pad on the body
• Dangling ball for batting
• Hanging tag for doorknob or hook attachment

What's not on the card. Best Pets don't give dimensions or a weight for this toy, so if you need to check it'll clear the floor or fit a particular door handle, that detail isn't supplied.

Who it's for: cat owners who want a scratching option hung directly on a door, rather than floor-standing furniture taking up space.
