Full description
A scratcher that only scratches doesn't hold a cat's attention as long as one that also moves, which is why adding a spring-loaded toy to a plain cardboard base tends to get more use out of both. Bestpets' Boxing Ring Scratcher pairs a sturdy corrugated cardboard base with exactly that.
The spring-mounted mouse bounces back after every swat, giving a cat something to chase as well as somewhere to scratch, all in a compact boxing-ring shape.
- Sturdy corrugated cardboard base
- Spring-mounted mouse toy
- Compact boxing-ring design
- Encourages both scratching and active play
On the name. This is sold with "Catnip" in the name, but our fact card doesn't confirm catnip is actually included, or where it would be if it is — we can't promise a catnip element on this listing, whatever the product name suggests.
Who it's for: owners of a cat that likes an interactive element alongside a scratcher, rather than a plain cardboard pad that only offers one thing to do.

Why we chose it
A spring-mounted toy on a cardboard scratcher genuinely gets more use than either on its own. That's worth the small premium over a plain scratch pad.
