Whether a raw diet needs vegetables in it at all is one of the more argued points among raw feeders, and Benyfit come down clearly on the side of yes.

This recipe is 65% turkey with bone, with ox heart, liver and kidney at 5% each, and vegetables making up a fifth of the mix — carrot 9%, parsnip 8% and broccoli 3% — plus a list of botanicals including flaxseed oil, kelp, turmeric, celery seeds, alfalfa, nettles, psyllium husk, clivers and wild yam, though the card we hold doesn't give an individual percentage for each of those. It's recorded as a complete food, with protein at 13.4%, fat at 10.6%, ash at 4.4%, fibre at 1.08%, moisture at 69.21%, calcium at 0.83% and phosphorus at 0.48%, at 141kcal per 100g.

What the botanicals list doesn't give. Nine separate botanicals are named in the composition, but none of them carries an individual percentage on the card we hold, so there's no way to say how much of the mix any one of them makes up. Feed at 2–3% of your dog's ideal bodyweight a day, adjusted for condition — Benyfit's own guidance, not a fixed figure.

Who it's for: raw feeders wanting a single recipe that includes vegetables and organ meat alongside the turkey, rather than a meat-only feeder building the full diet themselves from separate ingredients.
