Organ meat is where a lot of a raw diet's micronutrients actually come from, and a recipe that names liver, kidney and heart separately rather than folding them into a vague "offal" percentage makes it easier to see exactly what a dog is getting. This one is explicit about all three.

The recipe is 50% beef with bone, 10% ox liver, 10% ox kidney and 10% ox heart, alongside carrot, parsnip and broccoli, with botanicals including flaxseed oil, kelp, turmeric and psyllium husk. Adult dogs are fed at 2-3% of ideal body weight per day.

• Beef with bone 50%, ox liver 10%, ox kidney 10%, ox heart 10%
• Moisture 70.15%, crude protein 12.7%, crude fat 14%
• Calcium 0.47%, phosphorus 0.38%
• Complete food, raw and frozen
• 500g or 1kg pack

On adjusting portions. The 2-3% of body weight guidance is a starting point rather than a fixed rule - Benyfit's own advice is to adjust it depending on a dog's weight and health needs, since every dog's requirement is different. No calorie-per-100g figure is given on this card.

Who it's for: adult dogs on a raw diet whose owners want the organ content stated separately rather than lumped together.
