Raw feeding lives or dies on the routine around it rather than the recipe itself — a good frozen block is only as good as whether it actually gets defrosted properly and used in time, which is a discipline more than a diet.

Benyfit's Beef Meat Feast is built on a single protein: 80% beef, with 10% beef bone and 5% each of British ox kidney and ox liver making up the organ content. It arrives frozen and needs to be stored that way, defrosted in the fridge overnight and used within 3 days of thawing, with hands, surfaces and bowls washed after handling and feeding.

• Classed by the maker as a complementary food, not a complete one

On completeness. On the information supplied to us, Benyfit class this recipe as complementary rather than complete, so it's meant to sit alongside the rest of a varied diet rather than be fed as the sole food day after day. If you're planning to feed it as most of the diet, that's worth checking against the packaging or with your vet first.

Who it's for: owners already raw feeding who want a single-protein beef option with bone and organ meat included, and have the freezer space and routine for it.
