Beco Unscented Strtong Poop Bags

There is exactly one moment at which you learn how good a poo bag is, and by then it is far too late to do anything about it. Everything else about a bag — the colour, the box it comes in, the wording on the front — is decoration around that single point of failure.

Beco's answer here is thickness. These are made deliberately heavier than a thin supermarket bag, sized to go in a pocket or a dispenser, and finished with an easy-peel sticker so the next one opens quickly rather than being wrestled with in the rain. The plastic is 98% recycled PE with 2% colouring and stabilisers, and Beco state that 100% of the plastic in the bag is post-consumer recycled. These are the unscented ones — Beco also make a minted version and a version with handles.

Recycled is not the same as compostable, and Beco say so. Their own instruction is to put the used bag in the general waste bin — there is nothing here about home composting or food-waste collections, and buying a recycled bag does not change where it ends up. The other gap is a practical one: no bag dimensions have been supplied to us, and nothing says whether 315 arrives on rolls or as a flat pack, so if you own a particular dispenser it is worth checking before you commit to a box this size.
