How to measure

Back length: measure along the spine from the base of the neck (collar area) to the base of the tail.
Chest: measure around the widest part of the ribcage, behind the front legs.
If the two measurements suggest different sizes, choose by back length and allow for the chest.

Tear staining shows up worst on a white or pale coat, which is exactly why the products aimed at it are usually formulated and marketed with that coat colour specifically in mind.

This is a tear stain remover built around disodium tetraborate at 2%, applied by saturating a cotton wool ball and gently cleaning around the eye and the stained fur. Beaphar say it also works on brown discolouration between the toes and around the mouth, not just around the eyes.
