Brushing a dog or cat's teeth daily is the ideal, and also the thing almost nobody actually manages, which is why a water additive exists as the realistic middle ground. Beaphar's Plaque Away goes into the drinking water rather than needing any cooperation from the animal at all.
It uses pomegranate extract, peppermint oil and erythritol as its active ingredients, alongside a wider composition that includes sodium hexametaphosphate and ascorbic acid, working to counteract plaque and tartar formation and reduce dental bacteria. Beaphar's own dosing instruction is to add 10ml to 1000ml of drinking water daily.
