The manufacturer adds: because the sweater is elastic, manual measurements may have errors (which is normal); when purchasing, use back length and chest circumference as the standard. Full description
Short-coated dogs and elderly cats feel a cold room in a way that a husky never will, and a knitted jumper is the cheapest fix for it. This one has a rolled neck and pulls on over the head and front legs, and the patterns are as much the point as the warmth: daisies, strawberries and similar motifs, knitted into the fabric rather than printed onto the surface.
Knitwear works differently from a padded coat. It traps warm air in the fibres instead of sealing the animal inside a shell, so it breathes, it moves with the body, and it suits indoor wear and short garden trips far better than a downpour. It is light, too, with the range running from 34 to 100 grams depending on the size, which is barely anything to carry on a cat.
