Full description

Not every dog needs the richest food on the shelf, and Arden Grange sell a step down from their Prestige recipe for exactly that reason — same chicken-led approach, a bit less protein and fat for a dog with ordinary energy needs.

Premium is built on fresh chicken and chicken meat meal (20% each), with rice, potato, whole dried egg, fish meal and krill also in the mix. Protein sits at 26% and fat at 17%, both below Arden Grange's Prestige recipe but still a substantial chicken-forward formula.

12kg bag
Fresh chicken and chicken meat meal, 20% each
Protein 26%, fat content 17%, crude ash 7%, crude fibre 3%
Calcium 1.12%, phosphorus 0.8%
Vitamin A 21,000 IU, vitamin D3 1,575 IU, vitamin E 280 IU per kg

On choosing between Arden Grange's adult recipes. This sits below Arden Grange's richer Prestige recipe in protein and fat, while being built the same way with the same core chicken sources. If a dog is doing well on Prestige and you are only buying this because it looked similar, check the fat figures on each bag side by side before switching.

Who it's for: an adult dog with typical exercise needs, rather than a working or especially active dog that would suit the richer Prestige recipe better.

Arden Grange Adult Dog Premium

Why we chose it

It is the sensible middle option in Arden Grange's dry range, and worth knowing about specifically because the name alone doesn't tell you it's leaner than Prestige — the numbers do. That distinction matters when a customer is trying to pick between two similarly named bags.
