Full description

A fish treat can sound simple from the front of the bag; the composition is where simplicity is proved.

Applaws Freeze Dried Tuna Fillet Cat Treats declare Tuna Fillet 100% and no additives. They are complementary treats, intended for use as a treat or reward. The analytical figures are protein 85%, crude fat 16.5% and crude fibre 2%, with energy at 4142 kcal/kg. The 10G pack is described for cats and kittens of all breeds over 3 months. That age wording matters because the same label excludes kittens below that point. Its stated energy value is 4142 kcal/kg, so the page retains that label figure without turning it into an invented serving plan.

Composition: Tuna Fillet 100%.
Food status: Complementary
Pack size: 10G
Protein: 85%
Crude fat: 16.5%

This is not for the youngest kittens. The stated minimum age is 3 months. Although the label says the pieces may be given at any time as a treat or reward, it does not provide a product-specific daily allowance.

Who it's for: cats and kittens above the stated age threshold whose owners are looking specifically for a single-ingredient tuna treat.

Why we chose it

Tuna fillet is the entire declared recipe, which makes the buying decision unusually clear. I also like that the 85% protein and 16.5% fat figures are available instead of leaving customers to guess.
