Training treats live or die on portion control more than flavour, because the same session can mean dozens of repeats, and a treat with no feeding guide leaves you guessing how much is too much by the end of the walk.

Antos' Mini Bones are made from meat and animal derivatives, 20% of which is specified as poultry, alongside cereals and vegetable derivatives, shaped into small bone-shaped pieces sized for repetition rather than a single big reward. Antos publish a feeding guide by weight: dogs under 5kg get 13 pieces a day, 6-10kg dogs 22, 11-25kg dogs 45, and 26-35kg dogs 58.

On the ingredients. "Meat and animal derivatives" at 20% poultry is Antos' own wording — it means only a fifth of the stated meat content is specifically identified as poultry, with the rest described generically rather than named. The pack also contains preservatives and colorants, worth knowing if you avoid those on principle.

Who it's for: owners doing frequent training reps who want a portion guide already worked out by their dog's weight, rather than guessing.
