Fish skin is mostly thrown away in the kitchen, which is a large part of why it's turned up as a dog treat instead — it's a genuine off-cut rather than a manufactured ingredient.

These twists are made from 100% natural fish skin, with no additional ingredients, giving a high crude protein of 60%, alongside 0.8% fat, 0.5% fibre, 2.5% ash and 16% moisture. Antos suggest them as a snack rather than a meal, recommending treating responsibly according to the dog's size and supervising while chewing, and they're suitable from 12 weeks old.

One thing worth knowing. At 60% protein, these are a genuinely concentrated treat rather than a low-calorie filler, so they're worth counting as part of a dog's daily food if you're managing weight closely, even though Antos don't publish a specific calorie figure for them.

Who it's for: owners wanting a single-ingredient, high-protein treat made from fish rather than meat, for a dog from 12 weeks old.
