Salmon Bites are soft, small and made mostly of fish, which is what makes them handy for training: easy to break, quick to swallow, and strong enough in smell to keep attention. Antos describes them as loaded with the taste of salmon.

Unlike most of the Fish D'light range, these are not a single-ingredient treat. The fish is bound with starch, rice flour, glycerine and sorbitol, which is what keeps them soft.

• 100g bag
• Composition: fish (90%), starch, rice flour, glycerine, sorbitol
• Crude protein 35.0%, crude fat 1.0%, crude fibre 2.0%, crude ash 5.0%, moisture 23.0%
• Antos calls them a sugar-free reward
• Listed for extra-small to giant dogs, puppy to senior

Two things worth knowing. The label says "fish" rather than "salmon", so salmon is the flavour Antos describes, not a stated share of the recipe. And there's no daily amount on the label beyond "treat responsibly" for your dog's size; small soft bites add up quickly in a training session.

Who it's for: owners training a dog of any age who want a soft, low-fat, fish-based reward.
