Harnesses are sized by the chest (girth) — the measurement around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs.

How to measure

Stand your pet up squarely.
Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
Keep two fingers under the tape so the fit is snug, not tight.
If your pet is between sizes, choose the larger one.

The Ancol Step In Harness has a comfort-fit shape in breathable mesh, with hook-and-loop adjustment for fit and a snap buckle for security once it's on. A reflective strip runs across it for visibility in low light, which matters more on a step-in harness worn on early or late walks.
