The stretch of a walk that goes wrong is usually the last twenty minutes of it, once the light has gone and a dog in dark fur becomes invisible from the far side of a road.
This is Ancol's Reflective Star Lead: a 1m nylon lead, 19mm wide, with a reflective finish woven along its length rather than a separate clip-on flasher. The nylon base is built to cope with wet weather, and Ancol rate the lead to a maximum working weight of 50kg.
