Full description
A soft toy that only squeaks stops being interesting the moment a dog works out that's all it does, which is why layering in a second texture tends to keep one in rotation longer.
Phoebe Pheasant, from Ancol's Heritage Collection, is a plush toy with a built-in squeaker and crinkle wings, filled with recycled stuffing, and CE marked.
- Recycled stuffing
- Squeaker built in
- Crinkle wings for a second texture and sound
- CE marked
- Heritage Collection design
On durability: Ancol don't publish a weight limit or a chew rating for this toy, and like any plush it's built for carrying, shaking and squeaking rather than sustained chewing, so a determined chewer should have it supervised rather than left down unattended.
Who it's for: dogs that like to shake and carry a soft toy, and owners who want a squeak-and-crinkle combination rather than a single-texture plush.

Why we chose it
A squeaker and a crinkle in the same toy gives a dog two different sounds to chase rather than one, which is a cheap way to add interest without buying two separate toys. Recycled stuffing means it costs the shop no more to stock than an equivalent non-recycled plush.
