Full description
Country-check patterns don't go out of fashion the way brighter prints do, which is most of the appeal of a herringbone lead over something chasing a more of-the-moment look that dates within a year or two.
This lead has a hardwearing nylon base with a herringbone fabric pattern, machine washable at 30C and left to air dry fully before use. It measures 100cm x 1.9cm and is suitable for dogs up to 50kg, finished with a trigger hook.

On checking it regularly. the makers recommend checking the lead, stitching and trigger hook for wear or damage regularly and replacing it if needed, and making sure it's securely attached before use — worth doing before a walk rather than after something's given way.
Who it's for: owners who prefer a classic country pattern over a bright or novelty print, on a dog up to 50kg.

Why we chose it
Herringbone is a pattern that works on a lead the way it works on a jacket — it doesn't date the way brighter prints do. Matching pieces being available means it's easy to build a full set over time rather than all at once.
