Full description
Water alone cools a dog down for about thirty seconds before it's gone. Freeze it inside something chewable instead and it lasts for as long as the dog stays interested in gnawing at it.
This is a freezable toy: fill it with water, put it in the freezer, and it becomes a cooling chew for hot weather. It's shaped like an ice lolly and is the large size in the Ice Paws range.
- Fill with water and freeze before use
- Becomes a chew toy once frozen
- Ice lolly shape
- Large size in this range

What's not on the card. the makers don't name a material for the toy itself, and no weight limit is given for the dog using it, so we can't tell you in advance how it holds up against a determined chewer.
Who it's for: dogs that flag in hot weather or gardens without shade, and enjoy chewing as much as they enjoy drinking.

Why we chose it
It's a cheap way to give a dog something to do on a hot day beyond panting in the shade. Freezing it yourself means there's no chemical cool-pack involved, just water from the tap.
