Wand attachments do not wear out gradually; they disappear. One goes under the sofa, one is carried off to a bedroom, and the last is chewed to a stump on a Tuesday, and then the wand sits in the cupboard useless for a fortnight. Buying ten at once removes the problem entirely, because there is always a replacement in the drawer and the game can start the moment your cat asks for it.

Each worm carries a jingle bell, and the bell earns its place. Cats hunt on sound first and sight second, so the noise pulls their attention across a room before they have located the thing making it, and a cat that has already committed to the chase plays harder than one you have to coax. The worms clip on rather than tying, so swapping one out mid-game takes a second rather than a fight with a knot.

• Ten fuzzy worm refills in one pack
• A jingle bell on every worm
• Clip on and off a teaser wand quickly
• Assorted colours across the pack
• Wriggling motion for chasing and pouncing
• Six photographs of the pack

Two things worth knowing. These are refills, so no wand is included, and clip fittings vary between makers, meaning we cannot promise they will fit a wand you already own; message us with a photograph of your clip and we will look before you order. Bells and small fibres are swallowable, so this is a supervised game and the worms go back in the drawer afterwards.

Who it's for: owners of enthusiastic hunters who get through wand attachments faster than they expected, and anyone who wants a fortnight of play sorted in one go.
