Because it's sold frozen, delivery and handling matter as much as the recipe itself — a chub or block needs to go straight into the freezer on arrival and be thawed properly in the fridge before use, the same as any raw meat bought for a household. Factor freezer space into the decision before ordering in bulk, particularly for a larger dog getting through more per week.
