What to feed a Pomchi
A Pomchi — a Pomeranian crossed with a Chihuahua — is a toy-sized dog, usually somewhere between 1.5kg and 4.5kg fully grown, and what suits them is a complete dog food built for small breeds: small kibble pieces sized for a tiny mouth, energy-dense enough to cover their needs in a realistically small daily portion, and fed in two or three smaller meals rather than one large one.
Why size changes what to feed
Toy breeds have a fast metabolism relative to their size and a small stomach to match, which is why a small-breed formula matters more here than it does for a larger dog. These recipes tend to be more energy-dense so a Pomchi can get what it needs from a genuinely small portion, and the kibble itself is a smaller shape that a tiny jaw can manage comfortably.
Both parent breeds are also known for dental crowding — small jaws packed with a full set of teeth — so food and treats with a bit of texture to them can help, alongside the dental care that toy breeds generally need more of than larger dogs.
Wet, dry, or a mix

Splitting the daily amount into two or three smaller meals rather than one suits a toy breed's fast metabolism and small stomach better than one large sitting, and it lowers the risk of a blood sugar dip between meals, which very small dogs are more prone to than larger ones.
