Two things about switching litter. Cats notice, and a cat who dislikes the new texture will let you know somewhere inconvenient — so change it over a week by mixing the new into the old rather than swapping the tray in one go. And read flushable carefully: World's Best specify a maximum of one to two clumps at a time, which is not at all the same as emptying a tray down the loo, and plenty of water companies would rather you did not do either.
