The finishing touches after a clip — around the eyes, the mouth, the feet — are usually done with whatever scissors are to hand, which is often the wrong tool for genuinely delicate work.

These are stainless steel grooming scissors with offset handles and a finger rest, designed to reduce hand and wrist strain during close trimming work. They come with a scissor guard for protection when not in use.

• Stainless steel blades
• Offset handles with a finger rest
• Scissor guard included
• For light trimming around the eyes, mouth, ears and feet

One thing worth knowing. Wahl describe these specifically for light animal hair trimming and finishing touches, not for cutting through a thick or matted coat — for heavier work, a proper clipper or thinning scissors is the better tool, and using these there risks blunting them quickly.

Who it's for: an owner doing their own finishing touches after clipping, or close trimming around delicate areas like the eyes, mouth and feet.
