Tear staining shows up most on the dogs it's easiest to notice on, which is why white-coated breeds tend to get the blame for a problem that's actually just more visible on them - the underlying discharge happens across coat colours, it just doesn't show the same way. A pre-soaked pad is a quick way to deal with it without a bottle of liquid and a separate cotton pad.

Each pad in this pack of 100 is designed to gently remove dirt and tear stains from around a dog's eyes, and Vet's Best include soothing Aloe Vera in the formula. They're built to be safe and easy to use as a routine wipe-down rather than a treatment for an underlying eye problem.

• Pack of 100 pads
• Contains soothing Aloe Vera
• Removes dirt and tear stains around the eyes
• Designed for gentle, everyday use

On what these are not. These are cleaning pads, not a treatment - a red, sore, weepy or swollen eye needs a vet rather than a wipe. Vet's Best don't publish an ingredient list beyond Aloe Vera on this card, so we can't tell you more about the rest of the formula.

Who it's for: owners of a dog prone to tear staining or everyday eye-area grime, particularly on white or pale coats where it shows most, who want a simple wipe rather than a liquid cleaner.
