On what this does and doesn't do
This is a treat formulated around fibre and inulin, not a medicine, and no cure or clinical claim is made for it beyond supporting digestive health as a routine snack. If an animal is showing signs of a genuine blockage — not eating, hunched, straining — that is a vet visit, not a bag of treats.
Why we chose it
One bag covers six different small animals with a feeding guide for each, which is unusually practical if your household has more than one type of pet. It is pitched as routine support rather than a cure, and that is worth more than a bolder claim would have been.

Full description
Small animals that groom themselves as thoroughly as rabbits and guinea pigs do swallow a fair amount of their own coat, and unlike a cat, they cannot bring it back up — so what goes in has to help move it through instead.
These are cereal-shelled treats with a cream filling, built around dried papaya at 4% alongside wheat bran, rapeseed oil and inulin. They are meant as an in-between-meals snack from around 10 weeks of age, with a feeding guide that varies by species — more for a rabbit than for a hamster.
- Protein 10.6%, crude fibres 2.3%, crude oils and fats 25.2%, crude ash 1.8%, moisture 8%
- Dried papaya 4%
- Rabbits 2-4 bites, guinea pigs and gerbils 2 bites, hamsters and mice 1 bite, rats 1-2 bites
- 4758 kcal/kg, or 8 kcal per treat
- Suitable from around 10 weeks after weaning
- Suitable for hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, guinea pigs and rabbits

Who it's for: owners of rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rats or mice who groom heavily and could do with a routine digestive-support treat, rather than anyone dealing with an animal that is already unwell.
