Bowl depth gets far less attention than bowl width and matters just as much. On depth, and on flat faces. A 6cm bowl is right for most medium dogs and wrong for two groups. Flat-faced breeds do better with a shallow, wide dish they can reach into, and long-eared spaniels end up with their ears in the food unless the bowl narrows at the top more than this one does.
