Small animals are prone to urinary trouble partly because they often don't drink as much as they should from a bottle they have to work at, and a supplement built around cranberry — the ingredient most associated with urinary health across species — is a reasonable everyday add-on rather than a treatment.

Supreme Science Selective's Urinary Care supplement is made from wheat flour, ground timothy hay, ground dried locust beans, flaked oats, soya oil, ground peas, linseed, dried dandelion (1%), ground dried cranberries (1%) and dried echinacea (1%), with concentrated carrot and blueberry. Crude protein is a minimum 8.0%, crude fat a minimum 2.0%, crude fibre a maximum 12.0% and moisture a maximum 10.0%. Supreme Science's own guidance is 1-2 treats a day.
