A bird feeder that squirrels or pigeons can empty in an afternoon isn't feeding the birds it was bought for, which is the specific problem this feeder's cage is built to solve. Supa's Easy Fill Fort Seed feeder wraps a secondary metal cage around the plastic body to keep the bigger visitors out.

It fills from a unique access port in the base, and Supa recommend filling it over a container such as a box or bucket to catch any spillage. The metal cage around the outside is sized to let smaller garden birds through while keeping squirrels and larger birds such as doves and pigeons away from the seed.

• 8in size
• Plastic body with a secondary metal cage
• Base-fill access port
• Keeps out squirrels and larger birds (doves, pigeons)
• Made for garden use

One thing worth knowing. No seed capacity is given for this feeder, only its overall size — so we can't tell you exactly how much seed it holds or how often you'll need to refill it in your own garden.

Who it's for: garden bird feeders who've had a feeder emptied by squirrels or bigger birds and want the seed reserved for the smaller birds it's meant for.
