A fat ball feeder without a cage around it rarely lasts a season before something bigger than a garden bird works out how to strip it clean. Squirrels and larger birds like pigeons and doves are persistent, and an open feeder is an easy target for both.

The Supa Caged Fat Ball Feeder wraps a robust, powder-coated steel frame around the feeding area, built specifically to be a challenge for the most determined squirrel while giving smaller birds a sense of security while they feed. It's filled through a flip-top lid and holds four standard-size fat balls, and measures 26cm high, 17cm wide and 17cm deep, not including the handle.
