Specifications

Size: 3 inch
Brand: Sharples
Feature: Squeaker
Material: Vinyl

Full description

A squeaker turns a simple thrown toy into something a dog actively wants back, which is most of the point of a budget fetch range like this one.

This is a 3-inch vinyl toy shaped like a paw, with a squeaker built in, from Sharples Pet's cheap-and-cheerful toy range. It's designed for throw-and-fetch play to burn off energy rather than for sustained chewing.

Suited to throw and fetch play

Worth flagging. The catalogue lists a parcel weight of 0.8kg for this toy, which is far heavier than a 3-inch vinyl squeaky toy would normally be — that figure looks more like a case or multipack weight than a single toy, so we haven't relied on it here and can't confirm how much one toy actually weighs.

Who it's for: dogs that enjoy fetch and respond to a squeaker, and owners after a low-cost toy rather than a premium chew.

Squeaky Paw Dog Toy (price-marked pack)

Why we chose it

It's a cheap, simple squeaky toy that does exactly what it needs to for fetch play, and the paw shape is just a bit of visual variety in a range mostly made up of bones and balls. At this price it's an easy toy to try without much risk.
