Full description
A dumbbell shape gives a dog two different things to grip at once — a ball at each end and rope through the middle — which is a different play pattern to a single ball or a single rope.
This toy joins a tennis ball to each end of a length of safely dyed, multi-coloured rope, built as a dumbbell shape measuring 30.4cm and weighing 180g. It's part of Ruff 'N' Tumble's rope range, made by Sharples Pet.

On what's not supplied. No chewer-strength rating is given, so treat this as a tug-and-fetch toy rather than one built to survive a dedicated chewer left alone with it.
Who it's for: dogs that like both tug and fetch, and owners after a toy shaped for two-handed play as well as a solo throw.

Why we chose it
A dumbbell shape gives more grip options than a plain rope. At 180g it's also light enough to throw a genuine distance, rather than just being a tug toy that happens to have a ball on it.
