The reason most dogs rarely wear a muzzle isn't discomfort so much as what it signals to everyone else on the street, even when it's there for something entirely routine like a vet visit or a nervous moment with a stranger.

This is Rosewood's Soft Muzzle: a flexible silicone basket lined with soft padded neoprene straps, adjustable for a snug fit. It's built to temporarily restrain a dog — helping prevent biting, chewing or barking — for short, specific situations rather than something worn all day. It comes in more than one size, priced and weighed differently by size.

On sizing. Rosewood label the sizes numerically (Size 2, 3, 4) rather than against a breed or a girth measurement, and no nose-length guide is supplied on this card — the safest way to size a muzzle is still to measure your own dog's snout rather than guess from a breed name.

Who it's for: owners who need a muzzle for short, specific situations — a vet visit, grooming, a nervous moment — rather than a working muzzle for extended wear.
