Full description
Dogs see reds and pinks as duller, muted tones rather than the bright colour a person sees, so a ladybird's usual red-and-black pattern probably registers to a dog as movement and contrast more than as 'red'.
The Flingerz Ladybird is made from durable, wipeable canvas, with crinkle wings for noise and a hole in its belly that stores the included foldable launching stick between play sessions. Rosewood describe the canvas as built to withstand rough play and easy to wipe clean.

- Ladybird shape, 20cm
On the pattern. The ladybird colouring is there for the owner's benefit more than the dog's — dogs do not see red the way we do, so it's the crinkle noise and movement doing the work of catching attention, not the pattern.
Who it's for: dogs that respond to noise and movement in a toy more than colour, and owners who want a bright, cheerful-looking toy on top of that.

Why we chose it
We like that Rosewood didn't just repaint one shape five times across this range — each animal gets its own silhouette rather than a sticker change. Wipeable canvas remains the practical reason to stock any of them.
