Roman's Sonic Blue is a decorative gravel chosen from silicate aggregates for their inert properties, either natural stone or coated in a colourfast resin, and sold here in an 8kg bag. Roman say its finer grain size makes it a good planting medium as well as a decorative substrate, with increased surface area supporting anaerobic activity.
