Product description
There is a small winter ritual most owners will recognise: harness on, coat over the top, then five minutes spent fishing for the lead ring somewhere underneath it all while the dog spins in circles. This jacket removes that step by building the harness into the coat, with the ring sitting on the outside of the back panel where you can actually reach it. One layer goes on, the lead clips straight to it, and you are out.
The shell is water-resistant, which is the honest description. It sheds a shower and road spray rather than surviving an hour of steady rain. The collar sits high to keep wind off the neck and chest, the two places a short-coated dog loses heat fastest. Reflective detailing does real work on a dark afternoon, when the difference between a driver seeing your dog at twenty metres and at fifty is the coat you put on before leaving.

On the built-in harness. A coat harness is fine for a dog who walks reasonably on the lead, but it is not what you want to rely on with a strong puller or a practised escape artist, because you are trusting the coat's fastenings rather than a dedicated harness. If your dog pulls hard, wear a proper harness underneath and use the coat for warmth alone. Measure back length from collar to tail base for the size.
