Size guide & how to measure

Harnesses are sized by the chest (girth) — the measurement around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs.

How to measure

Stand your pet up squarely.
Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
Keep two fingers under the tape so the fit is snug, not tight.
If your pet is between sizes, choose the larger one.

Full description

House poultry are better company than most people expect, and the single reason more of them do not live indoors is that a bird gives no warning whatsoever before it goes. A harness with a fabric pouch sitting under the tail catches the lot, which turns a chicken, duck or goose in the kitchen from a constant mopping job into something close to manageable.

The harness goes over the wings and buckles with adjustable straps, so each size covers a range of body shapes within its band, and the pouch hangs where gravity puts it. Everything is washable fabric rather than a disposable pad, so it goes through the machine and comes back out ready for the next day. Sizes run small to large, with a six-piece set for keepers rotating clean ones through the wash.
