Product description
Cable knit does something a flat fleece cannot: the raised stitching traps air within the pattern itself, which is why a cable jumper is warmer than its thickness suggests. That is the reason the design has survived on human clothing for a century, and it works the same way on a dog standing about in a frosty garden waiting for you to finish whatever you are doing.
This is a two-tone cable knit with a ribbed, stretchy finish that pulls on over the head and moves with the dog rather than pinning the shoulders back. An embroidered crest badge gives it the preppy academy look, which is either the entire point or a tolerable side effect depending on your taste. Three colourways are listed, red, sapphire blue and green, across sizes S to 2XL.

Two things worth knowing. Knit is warm but it is not waterproof, and a soaked jumper on a cold walk is worse than no jumper at all, so treat this as a dry-day and indoor layer. Open knits also catch on claws and undergrowth, so watch it on a dog who charges through hedges. Measure back length and chest against the chart rather than going by the letter size.
