Full description

Chewing does most of the work on a dog's teeth that brushing is meant to do at home, and a necessarily awkward shape — knobbly, uneven, hard to swallow whole — is what makes a natural chew like this one useful rather than incidental.

This is 100% duck, dried down to a moisture content of 12%, with no other ingredient added. Analysis comes out at 68% protein and 12.7% fat, and Paddock Farm's own case for it rests on the cartilage and connective tissue naturally present in the neck itself.

100% duck, single ingredient
Crude protein 68%, crude fat 12.7%, crude ash 7%, moisture 12%
Wheat and grain free
Suitable from 12 weeks, with supervision
1KG bag

One thing worth knowing. Paddock Farm's own guidance is to always supervise chewing and remove any small or broken pieces, and colour can vary batch to batch since nothing is added to standardise it. This is a chew, not a meal — it isn't described as a substitute for any part of a dog's regular diet.

Who it's for: owners looking for a natural dental chew with a single ingredient, particularly for a dog that needs a novel or limited-ingredient diet alongside its regular food.

Paddock Farm Duck Necks

Why we chose it

One ingredient and a genuinely high protein figure make this an easy addition to a limited-ingredient household, and the awkward natural shape does more for a dog's teeth over time than a uniform manufactured chew tends to. It is a supervised chew rather than something to leave down, which is worth knowing before it goes in the cupboard.
