Full description

Some chews are all bite and no benefit, and some earn their place on genuine nutritional grounds - duck feet fall into the second group, because the cartilage and tendon they are made of naturally carries glucosamine and chondroitin, the compounds most joint supplements are trying to replicate. They are also a single ingredient, start to finish.

They are 100% duck, high in protein at 59% with fat at 14%, and grain and gluten free by nature rather than by formulation. They come as a 1kg pack.

100% duck
Crude protein 59%, crude fat 14%, crude ash 18.7%
Wheat and grain free
Suitable from 12 weeks
1KG pack

On supervision. Guidance is the same as for other animal-part chews: always supervise a dog chewing this, remove any piece small enough to be a choking hazard, and keep water down alongside it. Colour can vary between packs because it is a natural product.

Who it's for: dogs that benefit from a joint-supporting chew, and owners who want a single-ingredient option with nothing else to check on the label.

Paddock Farm Duck Feet

Why we chose it

The combination of high protein and a naturally occurring source of glucosamine and chondroitin is what earns duck feet a place here - it does double duty as a chew and a joint supplement without either being an afterthought. It is also, at 100% duck, about as simple an ingredient list as a chew can have.
