Small herbivores are meant to have hay in front of them constantly rather than as a side dish, which is easy to say and harder to keep interesting for the animal actually eating it.

This is a blend of two hay varieties, Timothy grass and Orchard grass, rather than a single type. It's high in fibre at 32%, with crude protein at 7% and fat at 1.5%, and Oxbow position it as enrichment through variety within an otherwise unlimited hay diet.

• A blend of Timothy grass and Orchard grass
• Crude protein 7%, fat 1.5%, crude fibre 32%, moisture 15%
• Two hay varieties in one bag, for variety rather than a single type
• Sold as a complementary feed, alongside a diet of unlimited hay
• 2.5KG bag

On feeding amount. Oxbow's own position is that small pets should have unlimited grass hay available rather than a measured daily amount, so there's no feeding rate printed here — this bag is about variety within that unlimited supply, not a portioned product.

Who it's for: rabbit and guinea pig owners already feeding unlimited hay who want to mix in a second variety for interest, rather than relying on one type alone.
