Seasonal itching follows a pattern most owners recognise. Paws chewed in the evening, ears that need cleaning more often than they used to, a coat gone dull by August. A daily supplement will not stop the pollen, but the omega-3s and plant extracts here are aimed at the skin's own response to it, taken steadily over weeks rather than reached for on a bad day.

Each chew carries fish-oil omega-3s, of which EPA and DHA are the fractions with the most evidence behind them, alongside turmeric root, grape seed extract, bromelain and pumpkin powder. The format matters as much as the contents, because a supplement only does anything if it goes in every single day, and a soft chicken-flavoured chew gets taken as a treat. Feed it from the hand or mix it into a meal.

• 120 soft chews per tub, 300g net weight
• Omega-3 fatty acids from fish oil, 28.4mg per chew
• EPA 11.93mg and DHA 7.95mg per chew
• Turmeric root, grape seed extract, bromelain and pumpkin powder at 14.2mg each per chew
• Chicken flavour, fed directly or mixed into food
• 24-month shelf life

A supplement is not a treatment. Give it several weeks before judging it, and note that the amounts per chew are modest. The ingredient list also names something called Pisu, which we have not been able to identify, so we do not list it as an active. If your dog is chewing paws raw or losing hair, see a vet: flea allergy, food allergy and atopic dermatitis look identical from outside.

Who it's for: Dogs with mild seasonal itching or a lacklustre coat, whose owners want daily support alongside proper veterinary advice.
