A bird's beak never stops growing, and without something to wear it down against, it can overgrow and cause real problems — which is the practical reason cuttlefish bone sits in almost every aviary. Classic's Trimmed Dried Cuttlefish Bones give a bird calcium and something to grind against in one piece.

It's a natural cuttlefish bone, supplying calcium carbonate and trace minerals important for bone formation and blood clotting, alongside the physical benefit of keeping a beak or claws worn down. Classic describe each bone as measuring approximately 20cm long, supplied in a pack of 3 weighing a minimum of 205g in total.

• 3-pack of trimmed cuttlefish bones
• Natural source of calcium carbonate and trace minerals
• Approximately 20cm long per bone (Classic's own figure)
• Minimum pack weight 205g
• Also used by reptile keepers

On the brand shown. This is sold under Classic's "Little Friends" range name, but the brand recorded against it is simply Classic — worth knowing if you're trying to match it against a specific range online rather than by the product itself.

Who it's for: keepers of cage birds, and reptile owners, who want a natural calcium supplement that also gives their animal something to wear its beak or claws against.
