Specifications

Brand: Johnson's

Full description

A cage bird can go from bright and active to visibly off-colour faster than most pets, which is part of why keepers tend to reach for a general supplement as a matter of routine rather than waiting for a problem to show.

This is a daily multi-vitamin supplement in dropper-bottle form, for all cage birds. Johnson's describe it as promoting and maintaining good health and resistance to ailments generally, with particular mention of birds in poor condition or recovering from illness, and as beneficial before and during breeding. It comes as a 100ml bottle.

100ml dropper bottle
Daily multi-vitamin supplement
For all cage birds
Particularly suggested for poor condition, recovery from illness, and breeding

What it won't do. This is a general supplement, not a treatment for a specific illness — Johnson's don't name a condition it addresses, only that it supports birds recovering from one, so a bird that's genuinely unwell needs an avian vet rather than more drops in the water.

Who it's for: cage bird keepers who want a daily multi-vitamin as routine maintenance, or specifically around breeding season or when a bird is settling in after a rough patch.

Johnson's Bird Vit-min Drops

Why we chose it

It's aimed at cage birds specifically rather than a generic small-pet formula, and the breeding-season mention is useful if that's exactly the window you're supplementing for. A dropper bottle is also simple to dose into water without much fuss.
