A seed mix without a stated fruit-and-nut percentage isn't necessarily a lesser one, but it does mean judging it by the ingredient list itself rather than a number on the bag.

This Johnston & Jeff "Premium" mix includes medium striped and white sunflower, safflower, whole maize and clipped oats, alongside pumpkin seed and flaked peas. The fruit and nut side runs to papaya, banana, currants, pineapple, apricot, brazil nut kernels, walnut halves, peanuts, monkey nuts and pine nuts, plus chillies, rosehips and carrot.

On the missing numbers. Unlike some seed mixes in this range, there's no stated ingredient count or fruit-and-nut percentage for this one — judge it by the ingredient list itself rather than a headline figure, since none has been supplied.

Who it's for: parrot keepers who want a broad mixed seed, fruit and nut blend without needing a specific percentage breakdown to choose it.
