Large parrots — macaws, cockatoos — are also some of the pickiest eaters in the cage-bird world, which is why a seed mix aimed at them tends to be judged on variety as much as on nutrition.

This is a 26-ingredient blend built around a reduced sunflower content, which is the point named on the front of the bag. 57% of the mix is fruit and nuts — 7 different fruits and 6 different nuts — including brazil nut kernels, walnut halves, peanuts and pine nuts, with the remainder made up of sunflower, safflower, maize, oats and peas.

• 26 ingredients in total
• 57% of the mix is fruit and nuts — 7 fruits, 6 nuts
• Includes brazil nut kernels, walnut halves, peanuts and pine nuts
• Marketed as a low-sunflower, low-fat blend
• For large parrot species: macaws, black cockatoos and moluccans
• 2kg or 12.75kg bag

On the nutrition figures. No protein, fat or fibre percentages are supplied for this mix — "low sunflower" and "low fat" are the maker's own positioning rather than numbers we can print here, so there's nothing on this card to set directly against another feed's declared analysis.

Who it's for: keepers of large parrot species — macaws, cockatoos, moluccans — who want a high fruit-and-nut mix with reduced sunflower content rather than a standard seed blend.
