Specifications

Brand: Johnson'S

Full description

A small bird's condition can turn quickly, which is why keepers who've had a bird before tend to keep a general tonic in the cupboard as routine, rather than waiting until a problem is obvious enough to act on.

This is Johnson's new, improved and reformulated Cage Bird Tonic, aimed at promoting and maintaining good general health in cage birds. It comes as a 15ml bottle.

Reformulated tonic
Promotes and maintains good health
For cage birds

What's not on this listing. Johnson's don't give a dosing rate or a frequency of use here — check the bottle itself for that, and a bird showing actual signs of illness (fluffed up, off its food, breathing differently) needs an avian vet promptly rather than a course of tonic.

Who it's for: cage bird keepers wanting a general, routine tonic for everyday health maintenance rather than a targeted treatment.

Johnson's Cage Bird Vitamin Tonic

Why we chose it

It's a straightforward general tonic without an oversold list of specific claims attached to it, which is honestly refreshing in this category. 15ml is also a sensible small size for something used sparingly in a small bird's water.
