Full description

Dog breath is one of those things owners tolerate right up until a guest notices it, and a mint-flavoured chew is aimed squarely at that moment.

Like the rest of this range, the composition is rawhide and rice starch - here with mint flavouring and colourants rather than a meat flavour, and no meat ingredient of any kind listed. The chewing itself is the mechanism for fresher breath, alongside whatever the mint flavour contributes.

Composition: rawhide, rice starch
Mint flavouring and colourants added
Crude protein 83%, fat content 3.5%
Crude fibre 4%, crude ash 5%, moisture 14%
450G bag

What the mint flavour doesn't tell you. the makers don't publish any specific breath-freshening claim or test result for this product beyond the mint flavouring itself and the general benefit of chewing - there's no ingredient here marketed as an active dental-care agent. Treat it as a flavoured chew rather than a dental treatment.

Who it's for: Owners wanting a bulk pack of rawhide chews in a flavour other than meat, particularly if a meaty chew isn't appealing or suitable for a particular dog.

Good Boy Fresh Breath Bones

Why we chose it

A mint option in a bulk rawhide range is useful for owners who'd rather not add another meat flavour to a dog's week, and 450G in one bag keeps the per-chew cost down. We wouldn't call it a dental product, just a differently flavoured chew, and we think that distinction is worth making.
