Product description

One ingredient. A rawhide ring holds up better than a stick because there is no end to start on, so a determined chewer has to work at the curve rather than shear a piece off.

The label says rawhide 100%, and that is the whole composition. No colourant, no flavour coating, no basting. Good Boy describe it as a chewing aid rather than a food, and publish no analytical panel for it at all, which is consistent: there is nothing to analyse but hide.

100% rawhide, nothing added
No colourants or flavourings declared
Not suitable for puppies under 4 months
Supervise, and use a non-stainable surface

There is no nutrition here and Good Boy do not claim any. This is occupation, not food. It should not be replacing part of a meal, and a dog who gets through one quickly is a dog who needs a larger size rather than a second ring.

Who it's for: adult dogs who chew hard and need something without flavourings on it, particularly if you are trying to work out what a sensitive dog reacts to.

Why we chose it

When an owner is eliminating ingredients to find a trigger, a one-ingredient chew is genuinely useful, and almost every rawhide on the shelf is basted or coloured. This one is not.

Common questions

Why no protein or fat figures?

Good Boy do not publish a panel for the plain hide ring. Their flavoured chews on the same page template do, so we take the omission at face value rather than borrowing a sibling's numbers.

Is it flavoured or coloured?

No. The composition is rawhide 100% with no additives declared.

What size should I pick?

Good Boy's own rule is a chew slightly larger than your dog's mouth, appropriate to breed and age.

How long does delivery take?
