How to measure

Measure right around your dog's neck, where the collar will sit.
Add enough slack to slide two fingers under the tape.
Choose the size whose adjustable range covers that measurement.

Full description

The hanging tag is the weak point in most dog identification. It swings, it catches, the split ring works itself open on a hedge, and the first you know about it is a bare collar and a dog who is now anonymous. Engraving the details straight into the buckle plate removes the moving part altogether: nothing to unhook, nothing to jingle at three in the morning, and nothing to lose.

The band is leather, which earns its money on a collar for one reason above all, in that it takes the shape of the dog. A new leather collar is stiff and slightly stand-offish; a few months in it has softened, moulded and stopped being something your dog notices at all. The name and contact number are lasered onto the gold-tone buckle plate itself, and a quick-release fastener with a sliding adjuster handles getting it on and off.
